Step 1 – Measure
- Weigh out 80g of ParaSoy Professional Melt Wax, and 8g of your chosen Fragrance Oil.
- Using Wax Melter or a double boiler, melt your wax over medium to low heat until fully melted (approximately 75–80°C). Remove from heat once melted.
- Transfer your melted wax into a pouring jug. Allow the wax to cool to 65°C, then add your fragrance oil and mix thoroughly to ensure proper bonding.
- Add a few drops of Black Liquid Dye. Gently swirl the dye through the wax — do not fully stir. The goal is to create light streaks and veins rather than fully blending the colour.
- Slowly pour the marbled wax into your Clamshell Mould. Avoid over-mixing during pouring to maintain the marble pattern. Leave to set overnight at room temperature.
- For best scent throw, allow melts to cure for up to 2 weeks before use. Your Marble Wax Melts are complete.
Marble wax melts are a beautiful way to add a premium, on-trend finish to your creations. The marble effect adds depth, movement and contrast, making each melt completely unique. Because no two pours are ever the same, this design is perfect for customers who love one-of-a-kind products.
The key to achieving a marble effect lies in temperature control and minimal mixing. By adding dye at a slightly lower temperature and gently swirling instead of fully stirring, the colour remains partially separated, creating natural-looking veins throughout the wax.
This technique works with a variety of colours — classic black and white offers a luxury look, while pastel combinations create a softer aesthetic.
Always check IFRA and legal limits for your chosen fragrance oil before making or selling.

1. Why Did My Marble Effect Disappear?
You may have stirred the dye too thoroughly or added it at too high a temperature. Add dye at around 60–65°C and swirl gently.
2. Can I Use Two Colours To Marble?
Yes. Complementary colours (such as grey and white, pink and purple, or blue and teal) create a beautiful layered effects.
3. Does Marble Affect Scent Throw?
No, as long as fragrance is properly mixed before adding dye.
4. Why Are My Marble Veins Too Faint?
Add slightly more dye or reduce stirring further to achieve stronger contrast.
5. How Long Should Wax Melts Cure For?
Although they set overnight, curing for 7–14 days improves hot throw performance.
