- Using your weighing scales, measure out 220g of ProSoy Container Wax, and 22g of your chosen Fragrance Oil.
- Attach the Wick Stick Ums to the base of your Wedo Eco 12 Wicks. Secure two wicks per container, spacing them 1–2cm apart. Use wick centering tools to hold them in place.
- Melt the wax in a wax melter or a double boiler. When it is fully melted, remove it from the heat and add the Fragrance Oil. Stir it thoroughly to ensure an even distribution.
- Slowly pour the wax into your Glass Jars ensuring the wicks remain upright. Leave to fully set.
- Once set, remove the wick centering tools and trim the wicks to 1cm.
- Using a tool such as a cocktail stick, push down the side of the candle against the glass. Repeat this around your candle to create 3 or 4 tunnels.
- Then, using a dropper, add 1 or 2 drops of each Liquid Candle Dye into each tunnel.
- Carefully using a heat gun or hair dryer disperse the colour around the candle to create the watercolour effect. Ensure the tunnels are submerged with wax.
- Once you are happy, leave the candles to fully set. Your Double Wick Marble Candles are ready to enjoy.
If you’re ready to level up your candle-making skills, Double Wick Marble Candles are the perfect next step. Combining the performance benefits of double wicks with a striking marble effect, this recipe creates a visually impressive and highly giftable finished product.
Using clear containers allows the marble detailing to truly stand out. By creating small colour tunnels and dispersing liquid dye with gentle heat, you achieve a unique watercolour finish — meaning no two candles will ever look the same.
Double wick candles are ideal for wider vessels, offering improved melt pools, stronger fragrance throw, and a more even burn. They also open the door to larger, more premium candle formats for your product range.
Always check IFRA and legal usage limits for your chosen fragrance oil before making or selling.

1. Why Use Two Wicks Instead Of One?
Double wicks provide better heat distribution in wider containers and improve burn performance.
2. How Far Apart Should The Wicks Be Placed?
Typically 1–2cm apart, depending on vessel diameter.
3. Will Each Marbled Candle Look The Same?
No — each marble effect is completely unique, making every candle one-of-a-kind.
4. How Long Should I Cure These Candles For?
For best fragrance performance, cure for 7–14 days before burning.
5. Can I Use Different Colours?
Yes — liquid dyes can be mixed and layered to suit seasonal themes or custom collections.
