- Measure out 80ml of Perfumers Alcohol, and 20ml of your chosen Fragrance Oil.
- Mix both ingredients together thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
- Carefully pour the mixture into your Perfume Bottle, use a funnel if necessary. Trim spray tube if necessary to match bottle height. Secure closures tightly.
- Allow the perfume to sit for 24–48 hours before use. This resting period allows the fragrance to fully bond with the alcohol base. Your Designer Inspired Perfume is ready to enjoy.
Creating your own designer inspired perfume has never been easier. With just two ingredients — fragrance oil and perfumer’s alcohol base — you can craft high-quality perfumes inspired by some of the world’s most loved brands.
Our perfumer’s alcohol base is specially formulated with Denatured Ethanol, Isopropyl Myristate, and Monopropylene Glycol to help disperse fragrance evenly and enhance longevity. When blended at the correct ratio and allowed to mature for 24–48 hours, the result is a beautifully balanced perfume with excellent scent throw.
If you’re considering starting a perfume brand, additional services such as CLP labelling, cosmetic safety reports, and bespoke glass printing can help elevate your product professionally.
Always check IFRA and legal usage limits for your chosen fragrance oil before making or selling.

1. Why Use A 20% Fragrance Ratio?
20% fragrance creates an Eau de Parfum strength, offering strong scent longevity.
2. Why Does Perfume Need To Sit For 24–48 Hours?
This maturation time allows the fragrance and alcohol to properly blend and stabilise.
3. Can I Change The Strength?
Yes:
-
5% = Body Mist
-
10% = Eau de Toilette
-
15–20% = Eau de Parfum
Always check IFRA limits before adjusting.
4. How Long Will Homemade Perfume Last?
When stored correctly, typically 12–24 months.
5. Can I Sell My Own Perfume?
Yes, but perfumes are cosmetic products and require a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), correct labelling, and compliance with UK/EU cosmetic regulations.
