- Weigh out 220g of ParaSoy Container Wax, and 22g of your chose Fragrance Oil using your weighing scales.
- Prepare your Candle Jar by attaching a Wick Stick Um to your Wedo Eco Wick, and attach the wick to the centre of the jar.
- Use a wick centering tool to keep your wick upright and in the centre of your candle.
- Using a wax melter or double boiler, melt your wax letting it get no hotter than 80°C.
- Remove the wax from the heat and add your fragrance oil. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Add dye if required at this stage and mix well.
- Pre-warm your candle container to help reduce shrinkage and wet spots. Allow wax to cool slightly.
- Pour the wax into the jar, and leave a 1cm gap at the top of the container. Ensure the wick remains centred.
- Leave your candle to cool and cure at room temperature for at least 24 hours. Once fully set, trim the wick to approximately 5mm before burning. For best results, conduct your own testing with fragrance loads, dye levels, and pouring temperatures to perfect your finish.

1. Why Pre-Warm The Glass?
Pre-warming reduces glass adhesion issues and minimises sinkholes or wet spots.
2. Why Melt To 80°C But Pour at 75°C?
Melting at 80°C ensures full wax liquefaction, while pouring slightly cooler improves surface finish.
3. Can I Increase Fragrance Oil Above 6%?
Yes, but always test performance and check IFRA limits. ParaSoy™ can typically hold higher loads, depending on fragrance.
4. Why Is My Candle Tunnelling?
This is usually caused by incorrect wick sizing or not allowing a full melt pool on the first burn.
5. How Long Should I Cure ParaSoy™ Container Candles?
Cure for a minimum of 24 hours before handling, ideally 7–14 days for optimal scent throw.
