Reed diffusers usually last between 2–4 months, depending on the size, room temperature, and number of reeds used. You can refresh the scent by flipping the reeds every week or two.
Typically, 6–10 reed sticks are recommended for each diffuser, depending on bottle size and desired scent strength. More reeds provide a stronger scent but will use up the oil more quickly.

To make a reed diffuser, simply mix a reed diffuser base with your chosen fragrance oil—typically using a ratio 4:1. i.e. in a 100ml bottle, 75ml augeo and 25ml fragrance. Pour the blend into a clean diffuser bottle, then insert 6–10 reed sticks. Allow the reeds to absorb the liquid and diffuse the scent. For best results, flip the reeds every few days and replace the mixture and reeds every 4–6 weeks.
