1- Firstly, prepare your area by gathering all the necessary equipment needed.
2- Start by weighing out your Soap Base and carefully cutting it into cubes. Next, add this to your jug and melt in the microwave until fully melted.
3- Melt in short 30-second bursts to stop your soap from overheating.
4- Once melted, add in your Fragrance, and stir well.
5- Then add in your Carrot Oil and mix until dispersed throughout.
6- In a separate jug, mix a handful of Oats and some Cocoa Powder.
7- Then pour in roughly a third of your melted soap mix and stir together. You may need more oats or cocoa, to create a dark layer that looks like mince pie filling.
8- When you are happy pour this into your soap moulds.
9- In a small jug, pour in a third of your remaining soap mix. Then add in 1-2 drops of Orange Liquid Dye and stir until dispersed.
10- Using a spatula, slowly pour your orange layer on top of your mince pie layer.
11- Then once your orange layer has started to harden, pour your remaining white mix into your moulds. Sprinkle with Cocoa Powder and then leave to set.
12- Once set, carefully remove your bars from the mould and then you can enjoy your Christmas Eve Melt & Pour Soap!
