- Candle dye
- Traditonal glass
- Wick
- Wick stick ums
- Wick centering tool
- Scale
- Thermometer
- Pouring jug
- Fragrance oil

Step 1 – Wick
Peel off the wick stick um and place it onto the end of the candle wick.
Peel off the other side and place the wick in the middle of your Traditional Candle Glass.
Step 2 – Measure
Measure your wax, around 400g for our 60cl glass, or around 600g for our 75cl glass.
We have used EcoSoya CB Advanced as it has great scent throw and glass adhesion, perfect for container candles.
Step 3 – Melt
Fill your plan halfway with boiling water.
Melt your wax on a medium to low heat and stir until melted.
Once your wax has melted thoroughly, take off the heat.
Step 4 – Dye
Add your chosen dye and stir.
We have chosen a bright pink, as the glass is clear, a bright or bold colour looks great!
Step 5 – Fragrance oil
Let your wax cool to 65 degrees before adding your chosen fragrance oil.
We chose black cherry as it’s a strong and vibrant fragrance.
As your creating a bold candle make sure you use a bold fragrance to match.
Step 6 – Pour
Transfer your wax into a pouring jug and then pour your wax into your traditional candle glass.
Then add your wick centering tool and leave your candle to set overnight.
Done!
Our Traditional Candle Glasses are very similar to a popular high street candle brand.
If you are a fan of the brand, why not have a go at making your own?
