Powdered SLSA is a great, milder alternative to SLS. It is mild and safe to use as a cleanser and creates a natural, gentle foam that doesn’t have the drawbacks of other, harsher foaming agents. Due to its larger molecule size, SLSA doesn’t cause any irritations when used as an ingredient in cosmetics. This means it’s an excellent choice for creating gentle cleansers and cleaning products with foam.
Our natural SLSA can be used to add foam to dry toiletries. Please be aware this product arrives as a fine powder, which can irritate the airways in its natural form, so care should be taken when using SLSA as an ingredient – you should always use a face mask during handling. However, once SLSA is incorporated into your products, it is completely safe and provides a foam that offers gentle cleansing.
