Our Pearl White, Silver EcoSpark Mica Powder is a part of our EcoSpark collection. EcoSpark glitters are wonderful lustre pigments that have a very light particle, and can be used to add a beautiful shimmer to your wax melts or bath bomb creations.
Mica Powders are stunning colours that are commonly known for their use in mineral make up and eyeshadows. Recently Mica Powders have gained popularity as an alternative to colouring waxes, and when used with liquid and chip dyes, create an eye catching pearlescent sheen. We recommend that you use around 5% mica powder to wax ratio for a shimmering effect.
We suggest using mica powders to add a shimmer to wax melts when melted, but we do not recommend the use of mica powder in candles as they can clog the wick and become a potential fire hazard. Mica can be used to decorate the outside of candles where they should then be used for display purposes only.
