How to Make Rainbow Robot Candles

If you’re looking for a creative and colorful way to brighten up your home, Robot rainbow candles are the perfect DIY project! These vibrant candles add a playful touch to any space, and they’re surprisingly easy to make. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner, creating rainbow robot candles is a fun way to express your artistic side and create something beautiful that you can use or gift to others.

What you will need:

Robot Silicone Mould

300g Prosoy Pillar Wax

TCR Wicks 27/16

30g Fragrance oil

Liquid Candle Dyes

Step 1: Prepare Your Containers and Wick

Before you begin melting the wax, set up your pillar moulds. Carefully pierce a hole in your Robot Silicone mould, big enough to fit your wick in.

Step 2: Melt the Wax

Melt your wax in your chosen melter. The wax should be fully melted and clear before you proceed. Use a thermometer to check that the wax temperature is between 77°C to 82°C, which is ideal for adding color and fragrance.

Step 3: Add Color and Fragrance

Once the wax is melted, it’s time to add your candle-safe dye. Stir until the color is fully mixed into the wax. If you’d like your candle to be scented, now is the time to add your chosen fragrance oil. Stir well to ensure the fragrance is evenly distributed.

Step 4: Pour the First Layer

Carefully pour your wax into the mould, trying to avoid any spillages. Allow to sit for for a couple of hours.

Step 5: De-mould your candle

Carefully de-mould your candle. The silicone will allow you to get your candle out with ease.
