How To Make Christmas Toilet Fizzers

The holiday season is all about adding a touch of magic to every corner of your home-including the bathroom! Christmas toilet fizzers are a fun, festive way to keep your toilet fresh and clean while spreading holiday cheer. These DIY fizzers not only bring holiday scents into your home but also help scrub away grime and deodorize, making them both decorative and practical.

In this blog post, you’ll learn how to make your own Christmas-themed toilet fizzers with simple, natural ingredients and holiday-inspired scents like cinnamon, peppermint, and pine. These make perfect stocking stuffers or cute additions to your home for guests during the festive season!

What you will need:

New Mixed Christmas Mould

Peppermint Essential Oil

1 & half cup of Bicarbonate of Soda

1 & half cup of  Citric Acid

Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of citric acid. Stir well until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. The citric acid provides the fizz, while the baking soda cleans and deodorizes.

Step 2: Add Essential Oils

Add 15 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil to the dry mixture.

Step 3: Add Water Gradually

Using a spray bottle or by pouring very slowly, add 1 tablespoon of water to the mixture. Be careful not to add it too quickly, as the water can activate the fizzing reaction. Stir continuously to evenly incorporate the water while preventing premature fizzing.

Step 4: Press the Mixture into Molds

Once the mixture resembles damp sand, press it firmly into the Christmas Silicone Mould. Ensure it’s tightly packed to hold the shape of the fizzers. If you want to add some visual flair, mix in a couple of drops of food coloring at this stage.

Step 5: Let the Fizzers Dry

Allow the fizzers to sit in the molds and dry for 4-6 hours, or for best results, leave them overnight. Once completely dry, gently pop them out of the molds-they should be solid and ready to use.

How to Use Your Christmas Block Toilet Fizzers

To freshen up your toilet, simply drop one fizzer into the bowl and watch it fizz! As it dissolves, it releases a pleasant citrus scent while breaking down grime. For extra cleaning power, let the fizzer sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing with a toilet brush.

Storage Tips

Store your toilet fizzers in an airtight container to maintain their potency and prevent moisture from affecting their fizz. Keep them in a cool, dry place, and they’ll stay fresh for a couple of months.
